MSU Women in STEM/Indianapolis
Life sciences, biotechnology and health care are big in Indianapolis! It's the global headquarters for Eli Lilly, and the North American headquarters for Roche Diagnostics and Dow AgroSciences.
Spartan Women/Indianapolis took place on Tuesday, March 15 2016 at the Artsgarden in Indianapolis. The event was hosted by the MSU Alumni LENS program and the College of Natural Science.
This exciting event showcased three Spartan alumnae working in human resource roles for Eli Lilly, Rolls Royce and Carrier Corporation.
- Sarah (Adams) McKenzie - Human Resources Manager at Rolls Royce
Sarah received a B.A. in chemistry from Kalamazoo College and an M.L.H.R. in labor relations and human resources from Michigan State
- Jantina Anderson – HR Manager at Carrier Corporation
Jantina received a bachelors in psychology from Clark Atlanta University and an M.L.H.R. in labor relations and human resources from Michigan State
- Heather Goodin – Senior Technical Recruiter - Manufacturing and Quzlity at Eli Lilly and Elanco Animal Health
Heather received a B.S. in chemical engineering from Michigan State.
Attendees learned how these companies develop talent at all levels as they discussed professional trajectory, high-potential talent pools, development trends, and recruiting/job search strategy relating to large, dynamic, scientific companies.
