2023 annual awards ceremony honors NatSci faculty, staff and students

Thirty outstanding MSU College of Natural Science faculty, staff and students were recognized for their achievements at the NatSci Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony.

Erica Wehrwein named Distinguished Educator of the Year

Erica Wehrwein, associate professor in the MSU Department of Physiology, was recently recognized for her teaching excellence and passion as a recipient of the 2022 Arthur C. Guyton Distinguished Educator Award by the Teaching Section of the American Physiological Society during the annual Experimental Biology meeting last month in Philadelphia.

Erica Wehrwein awarded Donald F. Koch Quality in Undergraduate Teaching Award

Erica A. Wehrwein, associate professor in the MSU Department of Physiology, is the recipient of the 2020 Donald F. Koch Quality in Undergraduate Teaching Award as part of MSU’s All-University Awards. Wehrwein is being recognized and honored for her commitment to quality undergraduate teaching and demonstrating substantial continuing involvement in undergraduate education.
