NatSci seniors receive Board of Trustees’ Award for a 4.0 GPA

Thirty-six (36) College of Natural Science graduating students were among a record-breaking 206 graduating students recognized by the Michigan State University Board of Trustees for achieving the highest scholastic average—a 4.0 GPA—this semester.

Each semester, students graduating with a 4.0 GPA are presented with the Board of Trustees’ Award for their academic excellence. Additionally, each awardee will be acknowledged during their individual commencement ceremonies in May and will receive $1,000 from the university in recognition of their accomplishment.

“It is an honor to present these students with an award that embodies the culmination of all the hard work and dedication they have demonstrated,” said MSU Board of Trustees Chair Rema Vassar, Ph.D. “We are proud of them, and optimistic they will continue as lifelong learners who make a difference in their communities.”

“On behalf of the College of Natural Science, I would like to congratulate this exceptional group of NatSci graduates on their distinguished academic achievements at MSU,” added Lynmarie Posey, NatSci associate dean for undergraduate studies.
