Content Consideration Form

Your article has been accepted! Whom should you tell?

Congratulations on your work being published in a peer-reviewed journal! It can be a terrific time to both call attention to that paper, as well as share your broader research.

Resources (both yours and ours) are limited and take time to assemble. To help figure out what options are available, please provide some information. The Marketing and Communications team will review and get back to you in a timely manner if your project is selected for development. Please note that this form is for papers being published by MSU faculty in peer-reviewed journals.

The key: Use the language of non-scientists to convey why people should be interested in your work.

Arranging communication requires planning and allocating resources. Please fill out this form as soon as you know a paper is likely to be accepted. Your information is safe with me – no one will be notified inappropriately. Beginning communication strategies after a paper has been published is usually too late.

Do you have photos? They must be pictures we have clear copyright on (which sadly eliminates most stock art). Figures in the article are often difficult for non-scientific audiences.*
